Circa 1900, Qing dynasty Chinese circular dark wood plant stand. The top has a pink variegated marble insert and fore-edge with Chinese beading, leading on to an apron decorated with carved cherry blossom leaves and branches. This continues down around the sides, to the quarter brackets and down the legs from top to bottom, making it difficult to differentiate between the legs and apron. There is a cruciform stretcher towards the bottom with cherry blossom and branches carved on the top. It finishes with splayed, animalistic feet.
