Circa 1900, Chinese huanghuali square occasional table. The top has a raised moulded edge with beading inside it, and a solid centre. Beneath this is an apron with faux bamboo carving in the form of twisted stems. The table stands on four elegant tall faux bamboo legs, united by stretchers at the bottom, finishing on neat bun feet. Would make a fine lamp table.
