Circa 1880 and later, unusual bronze dinner gong on a mahogany stand. The stand has a rectangular upright and overstretcher, with a small hook on the left for the beater and a simple hook in the centre for the gong. The gong is oriental in style and shape with a bulbous centre. Below the gong, is a large oak lined rectangular drawer with a brass pull handle, all standing on Georgian style bracket feet. The gong is oriental and the stand is British. (Includes a beater).
