    A rare and seldom seen adjustable armed desk chair believed to have been designed by prominent Bauhaus designer Walter Funkat during his time at Hinz Fabrik GmbH, Berlin, c.1930.

     
    Oak construction in a functional and straightforward design. Synthetic leather upholstery to the seat and pivoting backrest.
     
    Height to the top of the backrest: +/-87cm (34.25")
    Width: 60cm (23.25").
     
    Retailer's label 'Eaton's Systems Bureau, London' attached to the rear edge of the seat.
     
    Sturdy in construction with various small age-related imperfections: a small split to the end of the oak on one arm, some minor wear to the faux-leather at the corner of the backrest, some minor marking to the seat surface and a slight gap between the oak front edge of the seat and the upholstery.
