Circa 1900, oak and brass Art Nouveau tabletop gong on stand. The simple oak stand has an arched top and two tapering rounded uprights, and stands on trestle end feet united by a cross stretcher. From the cross stretcher come two small arms to hold the beater which is a solid brass rod with a suede top. In the centre top is a hook to hold the gong. The gong is circular and folded, which has been beaten with a central planished design and four small segments of Art Nouveau designs similar to that of Ritchie of Iona.
