An antique country oak wardrobe dating from at least early 17th century. This interesting and unusual cupboard features a pair of carved doors, and the oak has the rich patina expected for a country piece of this age. The wardrobe retains many of the original fittings, although as might be expected, there have been additions and repairs over the centuries, including the hanging rail - none of which detract from the charm and character of this solid piece of furniture. The wardrobe is very low, making it particularly useful for properties with sloping or beamed ceilings.
