This is an antique tilt top occasional table. An English, oak side or lamp table, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1780.
- Excellent example of 18th century craftsmanship, with appealing figuring
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Select oak stocks present fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays
- Quality wax polish finish hosts deep caramel hues
- Generously sized top with a diameter of 85.5cm (33.75'')
- Releasing the antique iron latch activates the tilting top
- Raised upon a stout turned baluster column with turned collars
- Trio of broad cabriole legs terminate in pad feet
