This is an antique showcase corner cabinet. A Dutch, satinwood bow-front display case, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.

• Of exemplary aesthetic appeal, with a striking finish and craftsmanship
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
• Select satinwood dazzles with fine grain interest and shimmering caramel hues
• Copious inlaid marquetry of boxwood and apple adds further distinction

• Fascinating hood shaped crown moulding accentuated with sea shell inlaid motif
• Tall glazed doors dressed with a brass foliate lock escutcheon — in working order, key present
• Interior arranged as a pair of shelves, benefiting from the natural light cast by the clear, bright glass
• Beautifully dressed with a later, soft olive velour interior lining

• Set within the bow form, three useful drawers to the mid point - dressed with brass drop handles
• Pair of cabinet doors enhanced with large diamond lozenge inlays, secured by working lock
• Contrasting borders of bird's eye maple a tasteful accoutrement to the dashing winged base
• Shaped front apron unites a pair of bracket feet, with single foot to the rear
