This is an antique pie crust lamp table. An English, mahogany tilt-top occasional table, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870.
- Charmingly decorative top, of generous size and appealing craftsmanship
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select stocks show fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
- Of tilt top form, the distinctive top held securely with brass clasp to reverse
- Fascinating pie crust edge detail accentuates the table edge
- Tapering support column adorned with carved gadrooning
- Raised upon a tri-from base, with broad cabriole legs
- Foliate decorated knees sit above carved claw feet
This is a delightful antique pie crust lamp table, with useful tilt function for occasional use. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
