This is an antique oval Looe table. An English, burr walnut and boxwood inlaid 4-seat centrepiece table, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

• Exceptional craftsmanship and figuring - a table of fine distinction
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order
• Burr walnut shows superb grain interest and warm caramel hues
• The generous oval top quarter book-matched to dashing effect

• Beautifully inlaid with fascinating boxwood and ebonised marquetry
• Drum apron set beneath the ebonised, chamfered table edge
• Striking table base, with cupped supports surrounding a central finial
• Elaborate cabriole legs with scrolled adornments, riding upon ceramic castors
