This is an antique ornate privacy screen. An Indian, gilt mahogany six panel room divider with elephant and gemstone decor, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Carved relief elephants and pierced fretwork accentuate the gilt painted stocks
• Profusely detailed with glass gemstones and mirrored tiles against vibrant golden tones

• Octagonal lozenges to each panel host charming relief elephant figures
• Chased foliate borders frame each panel with triangular scrolled fretwork uniting each lozenge
