This is an antique octagonal occasional table. An English, oak rotating two-tier book shelf in the Arts & Crafts taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.

• Versatile and attractive addition to the lounge or reading nook
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select oak shows fine grain interest and an abundance of medullary rays
• Deep caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish

• Fine octagonal form, accentuated to the top with a fir cone and leaf border pattern
• Display gallery with eight slender turned baluster rails
• Rotating smoothly around the central column, over a broad baluster support
• Standing upon a quartet of squat cabriole legs with pad feet
