This is an antique octagonal coffee table. An English, mahogany and marble decorative display table, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Distinctive octagonal form with excellent faceted marble top
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
• Cool, tactile Carrara marble top hosts the characteristic grey vein interest
• Select stocks present fine grain interest and deep caramel hues

• Of generous proportion, the octagonal top is finished with a tapered edge
• Beaded table apron inset from the leading edge of the marble top
• Atrium effect to base by way of turned cylindrical supports with collar detail
• Raised upon a quartet of stout shaped legs, united to the centre with an acanthus carved bulb
