This is an antique master artist's folio stand. An English, mahogany adjustable architect's picture rack, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

• Truly exceptional craftsmanship, with ample storage for numerous works
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order throughout
• Select stocks show fine grain interest and light caramel hues
• Delightfully large bronze hinges add to the impression of substantial quality

• Pair of frames adjust through seven positions upon a ratchet mechanism
• Each frame raises independently, from near vertical to a flat, wide v-section
• Wide picture rest dressed with small brass section pins, showing warm golden tones
• Standing upon a quartet of cupped bun feet, hosting concealed castors
