This is an antique lidded coal scuttle. An English, brass fireside fuel store, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Strikingly vibrant colour accentuates this charming store
- Displays a desirable aged patina and lightly time worn appearance
- Brass beams with wonderful golden tonality to the exterior
- Pleasingly original interior suitable for all fuel types, including coal and kindling
- Square lid with domed centre and a tactile, chamfered handle
- Adorned to each surface with a distinctive relief twist pattern
- Dressed with a pair of carry handles for ease of movement
- Raised upon a quartet of prominent slipper feet with scrolled motif
