This is an antique hall chair. A Scottish, walnut occasional reception seat, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.
- Attractive hallway chair, graced with distinctive detail and fine colour
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Walnut stocks present fine grain interest throughout
- A treat of rich caramel hues accentuate the chair
- Striking shield back with rolled crest rail and pierced back splat
- Shaped seat squab set at a comfortable height of 44cm (17.25'')
- Delightful turned baluster legs at the front over ball feet
- Rear legs gently splayed with square section feet
