This is an antique folding silver table. A Chinese, mahogany two piece serving tray, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

• Delightful example of Chinese Chippendale taste with ornate fretwork
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select stocks show fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
• Articulated, folding frame hosts the generous serving tray

• Striking carved fretwork accentuates the tray sides with foliate vines
• Distinctive inset silver plated monogram with the initials PD
• Engraved blossom tree decoration tastefully surrounds the monogram
• Quartet of slender legs adorned with foliate relief carvings

This is an exceptional antique folding silver table with wonderful colour and fascinating carved details throughout. Perfect as a coffee table or used as an afternoon tea tray. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
