This is an antique fireside fuel basket. An Indian, copper and bronze handled daal pot, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

• Distinctive naive hatched pattern accentuates the copper body
• Warm amber hues emanate from the tapered form, with a lightly polished finish
• Stout bronze handle articulates within looped hinges sprouting from wide, shaped brackets
