This is an antique entrance boot scraper. An English, cast iron doorway shoe cleaner, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.
- Generously sized scraper with a delightful appearance
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in very good order
- Cast iron form presents a good, consistent graphite finish
- Substantial in the hand at a weight of 7.36kg (16.22 lb)
- Set upon a pair of turned balusters, the generous scraper with a width of 20cm (7.75'')
- Oval form to the drip tray with a stout, tiered edge - replete with four mounting holes
This is an attractive and nicely proportioned antique entrance boot scraper, with a fine Georgian appeal. Delivered ready for the doorway.
