This is an antique desk elbow chair. An English, oak office seat, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

• Appealing elbow chair, ideal for the drawing room or home office
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Select oak presents fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays
• Rich caramel hues dance across the serpentine form of the armchair
  
  
• Superb figuring accentuates the upper rail, above a classic lyre back rest
• Arch shaped arms enclose the seat squab, with forward orientated supports
• Finished with a later, mid-century faux leather cushion and adorned with press stud trim
• Raised upon elongated cabriole legs, splayed at the rear, and being further united with an H-stretcher

This is a fine antique desk elbow chair, with beautiful colour and an attractive oak frame. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
