This is an antique cushioned stool. An English, ebonised mahogany footstool with Art Nouveau taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1895.
- Striking ebonised appearance with wonderfully padded cushion
- Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
- Art Nouveau frame appeals with dark tonality and wavy edge finish
- Stout, traditionally stuffed cushioning with an embroidered foliate upholstery
- Raised upon a trio of squat bun feet
This is a delightful antique cushioned stool, with an attractive, high quality upholstery. Ideal for the lounge or fireside. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
