This is an antique crystoleum picture. An English, framed glass mezzotint painting after Hermann Koch, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1895.
- Superb mezzotint upon glass, with a striking rendition of the original 'The Caller'
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
- Ornate giltwood frame with pierced scroll decoration and corn sheaf border in relief
- Signature of the original artist in the lower left corner for Hermann Koch (1856 - 1939)
- Below, the copyright mark dated 1894, by the Franz Hanfstaengl company
- Dressed to the rear with hanging wire, for ease of mounting
This is an endearing antique crystoleum picture, with a quality mezzotint reproduction of Koch's The Caller. Delivered ready to display.
