This is an antique decorative cheese keeper. An English, Jasperware serving dome in the manner of Wedgwood, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

• Alluring cheese keeper with attractive blue palette
• Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
• Distinctive Jasperware with white over blue ground
• Of generous size with provision for a truckle of Stilton of 2kg to 3kg in size (4.4 lb to 6.61 lb)

• Highly detailed acorn finial sits above the keeper lid
• Stylised foliate pattern to centre of lid with acorn leaf perimeter
• Cameo relief of putto adorns the circumference of the dome
• Rolled edge to base bears a repeat of the acorn branch relief

This is a delightful antique decorative cheese keeper, unmarked as such, but with the quality and skill expected of Wedgwood. Sure to grace any kitchen surface or dining table. Delivered ready to enjoy.
