This is an antique cartographer's folio table. An English, mahogany lift over library table or desk, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.

• Rare and unusual, this fascinating table presents a fine appearance and versatility
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Select stocks show fine grain interest and deep russet hues
• Dressed with faux drawer fascia, with a pair of useful drawers to the leading edge

• Of great proportion, the top opens to one end on brass hinges
• The fold over top can be held securely upon an articulated rest arm
• Each drawer fascia dressed with a pair of turned pulls and inset brass lined locks — key absent
• Attractive tapering turned legs ride smoothly upon a quartet of brass castors

This is a delightful antique cartographer's table, the inset folio to one end offers potential storage for many uses. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
