This is an antique butter dish. An English, ceramic country kitchen cheese keeper, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.
- Pleasingly decorative dish, with charming foliate pattern
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Quality ceramic with a white ground hosting a colourful pattern
- Presented in a pleasingly clean order, ready to use
- Colourful flowers with a palette of blue, red and green
- Accentuated with gold tooling, catching the light with a flourish
- Blue handle to lid, with a pair of aeration holes below
- Maker's stamp to base for Keeling & Co Ltd, from the Potteries of Staffordshire
