This is an antique butler's silver carry tray. An English, mahogany newspaper rack or work box, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
- Attractive carry with a pair of generous compartments
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select stocks show fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
- Wonderful exposed dovetail joints a testament to the quality craftsmanship
- Central divider with inset butler's grasp, a pair of turned handles to either end
- Raised upon a quartet of squat bun feet at each corner
