This is an antique Art Nouveau coal scuttle. An English, copper and wrought iron fireside log bucket in the shape of a pram, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Fascinating form and wonderful hand-beaten appeal
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Quality antique copper displays deep amber hues
- Striking wrought iron spiral handle mounted upon distinctive shaped mounts
- Coal shovel rests neatly within the rear-mounted holder
- Raised upon a pair of unusual, serpentine scrolled feet
