    Antique ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MAHOGANY & MARBLE DUCHESSE WASHSTAND C1880 W7312/18.2

    Antique Victorian Mahogany Duchesse Washstand and dating from around 1880. It has a moulded edge to the marble top above the mahogany base which has a serpentine shaped front with small drawer to the centre and which is pine lined with original turned mahogany knob handles. Stands on lovely carved cabriole legs with armorial style shield to the front and on a carved paw foot joined by a shaped pot board on smal squat bun feet.

     
    Measures: 27" high x 21" deep x 47" wide
     
    A very nice Victorian Duchesse Washstand of quality mahogany and with a lovely deep colour and original patination to the Mahogany and in very good condition oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
