A rare and unique 18th Century mahogany side table from the Georgian period, what looks to appear like two drop leaves is in fact just the one where the leg comes out and the leaf comes up to extend the table, however the the other side in fact drops down to reveal a large compartment space and the drop down leaf can be used as a shelf, two drawers at one end and faux drawers the other, all with the original brass engraved handles, supported on square tapering legs terminating on brass cap and castors. Lovely figured top and in excellent condition. Circa 1780.
