tall french inlaid kingwood chest of drawers

Circa 1900, tall French inlaid kingwood chest of drawers. The rectangular top with canted corners in variegated pink marble is over seven graduated, inlaid and cross banded drawers with foliate brass escutcheons. There are canted corners with Neoclassical ram head mounts and panelled sides with mirror matched kingwood. It all stands on cabriole legs, finishing with brass sabots.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
