french figured walnut writing table

Circa 1900, neat sized French figured walnut serpentine-front, writing table. With extensive brass mountings including brass mouldings around the top and figured walnut banding, a gilt tool and dark coloured skiver that is in excellent condition. There are two side drawers and one central frieze drawer with burr walnut facings and rococo brass handles, all above elegant shaped supports with extensive brass mounts.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
