A superb quality early 19th century William IV side table, which opens out to become a card games table if required.Circa 1830.Made of rosewood with stunning figuring and rich contrasting colours to the timbers. The rectangular top swivels open to reveal a storage compartment below, with a green baize top, in excellent condition.Makes a wonderful side/console table.Standing on an upward tapering pedestal, with a triform base and turned feet.Excellent antique condition. Minimal signs of use, having developed a rich warm patina to the rosewood.Very solid sturdy and strong. The dimensions are.Height-74.5cm.
