An impressive carved oak front and back bar, designed in the Victorian taste and offering a substantial architectural presence. The front counter is formed with canted corners and a broad polished serving top, above a richly panelled facade decorated with deeply carved floral, foliate and stylised motifs.
The panelled front is divided by turned and carved uprights, with larger carved panels positioned at each canted end. The matching back bar incorporates open storage shelving beneath an elaborate raised superstructure. This is fitted with a large central engraved mirror, flanked by pairs of smaller engraved mirror plates and supported by substantial carved columns. A prominent carved floral crest and turned finials complete the design.
The bar separates into sections for transportation and installation. Its generous proportions make it particularly suitable for a pub, restaurant, hotel, private entertaining room or commercial interior.
