A stylish Victorian two-tier Aesthetic Movement bamboo side table, featuring a hand-painted chinoiserie lacquer top with oriental scenes and motifs, the square top with double banding in bamboo, supported on bamboo legs with various shaped stretchers, the bottom tier with its smaller lacquer panel, finishing on splayed bamboo feet.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
