Circa 1880. A rare and unusual Victorian bentwood highchair by Thonet, the curved and embossed back with an angel, C scrolls with cornucopias below, with a hinged fold-over tray, a classic bentwood seat, shaped arms and a ribbed demi-lune footrest, resting on classic bentwood legs braced by a circular stretcher, with a small hook for locking the tray in position.
