Circa 1880. A late Victorian Rosewood and leather upholstered professional adjustable piano stool, the rectangular top in pleated and deep buttoned black leather with studding to the sides. The deep frieze with ribbing to the top and bottom, the ends with a pair of large turned knob handles for adjusting the height, the underside with patented metal mechanism, resting on four square legs with ribbing on the facings, braced by unusual stylish stretchers with a raised section, finishing on ribbed curled feet, the stool is in excellent condition and working order.
