Circa 1860. A pair of mid-Victorian satin birch bedside cabinets. The solid tops with a stylish moulded fore-edge above the front with a full-length door and arched panel. The doors, one right and one left-handed, one opens to reveal a group of four graduating drawers with facings in satin birch and recess knobs and a rondel carved out of the solid, the other pedestal has a single shelf which can be adjusted. Both cabinets resting on an enclosed plinth.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981.
