Circa 1860, mid-Victorian carved walnut stool. Covered in fabric which is held in place by pins and gimp, it has a foliate carved fore-edge and C-scrolling moulding which continues on all sides. The top of the legs have a cartouche shaped carvings and the legs finish on a well carved curled toe.
