Circa 1880. An Italian, perhaps Sorrento, inlaid games table, the top
inlaid for chess or chequers in boxwood and walnut with triple string inlay
on a crosscut background, with a simple fore-edge, with a pair of drawers
beneath with oval inlay panel in the center, turned knob handles, string
inlay and crosscut wood, resting on a stained walnut stem, issuing three
hipped cabriole legs, all in excellent condition.
