Circa 1920s. A George II style walnut and burr walnut D-shaped dining table, the tops in finely figured walnut with herringbone inlay and narrow banding, the beaded frieze in walnut, supported on four elegant turned and tapering legs with solid quarter blocks, carved shell on the facings with tapering harebells beneath, finishing on a simple pad foot. One extra original leaf sits on wooden runners and is held in place by cast brass clips and keepers.
