Circa 1860, an early George III oak bureau of desirable proportions, the flap with a very elegant engraved escutcheon, inside is well appointed, with wavy arches, three which are disguise drawers, various pigeonholes and drawers of various lengths, and a solid oak writing surface, beneath the flap left and right is a pair of lopers and four graduating drawers, each with oval escutcheons and swan neck cast brass handles with oval back plates, all resting on bracket feet.
