A fine antique mahogany boardroom table with a set of ten matching chairs, comprising two carver chairs and eight single chairs.
The impressive rectangular table is inset with a leather skiver and stands above a richly figured mahogany frieze fitted with a series of drawers, each with brass handles and escutcheons. It is raised on bold swept supports united by a turned stretcher, terminating in decorative brass castors.
The accompanying chairs are designed in a complementary Regency style, with shaped backs, elegant sabre legs and upholstered seats. The two carver chairs feature sweeping scroll arms, giving the set a strong and refined appearance suitable for a formal dining room, boardroom, meeting room or large country house interior.
