Here we have a beautiful Victorian mahogany chest of draws dating to the second half of the 19th century. This stunning example with rich warm color has a solid top, 4 long draws with turned knobs and is raised on bracket feet. Formally a Victorian commode it has been professionally converted at some time, using good quality materials and dove tail joints , conversion was common practice in the late 19th early 20th century. It has the benefit of being of compact size, and all the draws run freely making it a useful piece of furniture. It is in good order as you can see from the photos and in great condition for age.
