We are a husband and wife team based in the lovely village of Melbury Osmond, Dorset, where Thomas Hardy's parents were married. Although our speciality is stripped pine furniture, we also have some furniture made from hard woods, e.g. oak coffers and bureaux. Our items vary from the Victorian, Edwardian and Georgian eras. We put most of our furniture on our own website (www.hardycountry.com) but since we only have a small showroom where we are based some items are in store off site. Therefore, we recommend you contact us prior to visiting so that we can make the item available to view.
