Circa 1840 and later. An interesting neat sized oak and inlaid two part dresser. The inverted top, moulded with dental detail beneath, with a wonderfully shaped and pierced frieze with waves and hearts. The shelves with a wave pattern on the fore edge, a pair of inlaid cupboards with neat drawers beneath. The back is tongue and grooved and polished, the base in quarter sawn oak, with fine chequered inlay and mahogany banding, with a combination of a pair of cupboards in the center, flanked by a bank of two drawers with similar inlay and stylish cast brass handles with pierced backplates. Beneath this an elegant frieze similar to the top, all resting on square legs at the back and elegant cabriole legs in the front, finishing on a circular pad foot.
