Circa 1820. A George IV mahogany dining table. The table consists of two end sections, rectangular around the corners and in the centre, a 3-part drop leaf table. The table with its mellow faded solid mahogany top makes up into 5 sections, all original. Beneath the two ends there is a deep apron with a simple beading beneath. The table stands on 14 ring and turned legs which taper from top to bottom The drop leaf section in the centre has 6 legs. 2 of these sweep out on each side to support the extra leaves which are also locked into the end sections by brass clips.
