fine georgian writing table in satin birch

A fine quality satin birch writing table dating from around 1800 with a drawer concealing a blue leather hinged writing slope and a pen compartment with a lidded glass ink bottle (later replacement). The table has a moulded edge top with rounded corners and original turned wooden knob handles to the drawer. The well formed legs are ended with the original brass castors. This is a very pretty original writing table in beautiful condition and of sought after small proportions.
