We present you another incredible piece of furniture in our collection -- this elegant and exquisite Biedermeier chiffonier circa 1880.
It was manufactured. from Scandinavia. This furniture has been made in the method of veneering with mahogany onto a frame of coniferous, and deciduous tree. Furthermore, the front is made in pyramidal mahogany. The sides and some elements are made of different deciduous wood that has been toned in mahogany. The chiffonnier is finished with a shellac French polish that is applied manually with a tampon in high gloss. The inside of the dresser is mat. To continue, the furniture has been kept in the coloring from before the renovation, which show the wood grains in a beautiful way.
The chiffonnier has a stepped cornice with ovoid corners. It is composed of a row of seven drawers of the same size, which have been slightly rounded towards inside. The drawers are sliding, and there are four compartments and a storage under the middle drawer. Moreover, they have been ornamented with brass escutcheons.
Presented dresser is supported on four legs: the rear are in the form of plinths, and the front are scroll. This furniture amazes with uncommon simplicity. At the same time, the chiffonier is elegant and chic, and will surely make its new owner proud.
This piece of furniture, as for its age, is in very good condition. Only slight traces of careful use are visible. We hope that the value of this furniture will be appreciated by many customers.
