19th c oak french marriage armoire

A Genuine 19th Centuary french Armoire , its a beauitful light Oak colour and the carving is stunning . The Doors open to rebeal shelves and it has two drawers .A lovely piece of furniture beutifuly crafted ,a team of cabinet makers would have made the frame before handing over to the master sculptor . The sculpting cost typically more than half the total bill. They were delivered by cart on the afternoon of the wedding so the guests could admire it at the reception. They would then be taken away, dismantled and assembled in the farmhouse. They are far and away the most sophisticated and costly pieces of Breton furniture. This Armoire has been traditionaly french polished by our restorers and is ready for immediate use , it still has its original key and working lock. The armoire can be fully dissassembled if needed.
