Circa 1880. Quality set of 8 George II style walnut dining chairs. The arched top rail with
acanthus and shell carved decoration above four shaped splats on shaped supports
with a
dropout seat with moulded seat rails. Supported on cabriole legs in front with shell carved
knees and ball and claw feet, and out
-
swept rear supports. The two carvers with shaped
arms with scrolled terminals. Lovely mellow colour and condition.
